Application Examples
Our Excalibur Mini-Series is excellent for a multitude of environments, check out the application examples below:
Sacred Skunk Organics is enjoying the combination of our Excalibur Mini’s and Cool Cobs in one tent. For drawing such a low wattage the light levels are incredibly high, his plants and bank account will thank him. Switching to LED in his no-till organic tent reduces the electricity bill along with providing proper full-spectrum over the older ‘blurple’ led fixture he was using before. You know the ones, half of the LEDs burn out, it’s hot and the plants just aren’t happy.
Another excellent example is from a local grower who was having difficulties in the winter months dealing with low light levels associated with the 8′ 4 lamp T5 fixtures. In this application, you can see the Excalibur mini fixtures on the right and the 8′ T5 on the left. On average a 4 lamp t5 should use about 216w, while 2 Excalibur Mini’s use only 45w a piece. with a savings of over 100w per light, while producing MORE light, it’s a no brainer to throw those old T5’s away and switch to the Excalibur Mini’s.
Our good friend at tipsonthetrees303 has been around from the start, giving us quality content to help boost our platform. Seems like the plants are enjoying the supplemental lighting!
